Family organic farm since 1800
GAEC Henriot is a 255-hectare mixed organic farming operation just a stone's throw from the gîtes. Hervé, a distant cousin of Laurence, has been working the farm since 1988. Laurence took over the family reins in 2007 when her father retired, joined by Raphaël in 2011 — the year the farm converted to organic agriculture.
No pesticides, no synthetic chemical fertilisers. Working with nature, not against it.

Alongside Charolaise cattle, the farm rears Bazadaise (around 7,500 head in France) and Ferrandaise (3,700 head). By choosing these breeds, Laurence and Raphaël make a tangible contribution to the preservation of domestic biodiversity.

The grain is grown on the farm and milled using an Astrié stone-grinding mill installed in 2020. The flour comes directly from the farm — and may well end up on your table during your stay.

Step inside the farm: flour, meat and produce from neighbouring farms — the vast majority certified organic — await you. As local as it gets.
Our gîtes are 150 metres from the farm.
